Malta Ridge Vol. Fire Department
Unlike our other Limited Editions, I am not limiting this Gicleé Print run....rather I am donating to the Fire Department with each purchase. It would be nice if it sold in the thousands!
Each print is personally signed by me on the back
and numbered on the front....making each print truly unique and one of a kind
piece of artwork!
It would be a sophisticated piece to add to any fine art collection, or the
perfect stand out work of art to start one!
Our Gicleé prints are high resolution, digital prints made with archival inks
and papers. Gicleé (pronounced "zhee-clay") is a French term meaning "to spray",
describing the digital printing process. Digital color control is more accurate,
with greater opportunity for artistic interaction.
Gicleé prints are a recognized fine art print category like lithographs and
serigraphs. Gicleé printing is considered by many to be the world's best
technique for reproducing original works of art. Made with artists' materials,
gicleé prints look and feel like the original art.
There is a difference between making an exact reproduction of an original
painting and making a "digital creation". The cost and complexity of
professionally produced gicleé prints often lead to compromises, with results
that bear faint resemblance to the originals. We have taken the time to make
sure every print we offer is as close to the original painting as possible.
Knowledgeable collectors have been amazed with the side-by-side comparisons,
often unable to tell the original from the print. We feel our gicleé prints are
among the finest anywhere.
All Limited Edition prints are signed and numbered, with certificates of
authenticity. These prints are made with 100% archival D'Arches watercolor paper -
the same paper I use to create the original. The open prints are printed
with a giclee process on acid free 110 lb paper.

If you have read about the artist, you know that Carol Anne and I have lived through a life threatening moment.
For sometime after my surgery I wondered what large task I had been saved to do. Now I realize that thinking that being singled out for any reason is just self aggrandizing. What I do know is that I can paint, and maybe help some with my gift.
That is why Carol Anne and I, will donate 15% of all that you purchase through the web site (minus shipping, handling, and tax...of course) to the Malta Ridge Vol. Fire Department.
