Ulysses S. Grant Cottage

In this Adirondack Cottage Gen. Ulysses S. Grant died of throat cancer on July 23, 1885. He had arrived at the cottage from New York City on June 16, 1885, with his family, servants, and doctors; here he was able to complete his memoirs in the short time he had left.

This is a watercolor created on a quarter sheet of Arches cold pressed 140 lb paper.  This image is of the cottage in winter and as a Gicleé print measures 9 x 13 approximately,  and with a mat frames nicely in a standard 16 x 20 frame.

Each Giclee print is consecutively numbered on the front and signed by JC on the back.  Since a significant portion of the proceeds or your purchase goes to the cottage there is not a maximum number of Giclees that we will print.  In fact, it is our hope that the sale of this print provides a significant funding stream for maintaining and operating this Historic site.
