JC Parker was born in Saranac Lake, NY and today lives just a few miles from the Saratoga Springs thoroughbred race track.  However, the family homestead in Owls Head NY, deep in the Adirondacks is the only place he has always been at home.

A few years ago he was diagnosed with an abdominal aortic aneurysm and kidney cancer. Today he is a cancer survivor and has used his art as a medium to relieve stress and to move forward.

"I now know that there is only this moment.  Painting, keeps me in the moment - I believe you can see the passion for life in my images."

Giving back is very important to us, that is why we make significant contributions to charities and non-profit organizations.

Jim is self taught and has always dabbled in some creative medium, however, in the last few years he has made the transition to producing artwork for a living.  You will find his artwork in a number of galleries, private collections, and of course here on our web site.   

He works in different materials....oil, acrylics, pencil, pastel, watercolor, and mixed media.  Many of his creations are also available as Limited Edition Gicleé Prints and smaller open prints.  We believe that if our art work speaks to you - you should have it...that is why we offer images in different fomats to fit many lifestyles.

Jim is a self taught scenic painter, who's art can provide a glimpse of the spirit and captures moments in time.
