Jim Parker was born in Saranac Lake, NY and today lives in Malta - just outside Saratoga.   However, the family Camp in Owls Head NY, deep in the Adirondacks is the only place he has always been at home.

A few years ago he was diagnosed with an abdominal aortic aneurysm and kidney cancer. Today he is a cancer survivor (for 3 years now) and has used his art as a medium to relieve stress and to move forward.

That is why a portion of the proceeds from the web site are donated to charity.

Jim works in different materials including oil, acrylics, pencil, pastel, watercolor, and mixed media.
