The first day of January,2008 was a very special day.  First night, the evening before was spectacular, but what made this first day special was that it snowed.

The snow put a fresh touch to everything and turned all of Congress Park into a fairyland. Normally the city workers would have cleared the walks, and salted the roadways. However, this first day was special and the new snow covered the city till nightfall.

This is an image looking down the Spring Street sidewalk from Broadway.  You can see that it's been traveled but no one yet has established a preferred path..  The original watercolor is 16 X 19 inches unmated.

The Print is the size of the original (16 x 19).  There will only be 25 gicleé prints made on D'Arches paper at the original size for this edition.
