Stoney Creek

This is a mixed media picture.  Created as an original pencil drawing ( also available ) and then a number of watercolor washes were applied.  It is matted to 11 x 14 standard frame, both the print and original are on 100% acid free cold press water color paper.

In the 70's I spent quite a bit of time fishing on the Connecticut shore.  In the fall the blue fish schools would cruise the Connecticut shore.  If you were at the right place at the right time and the fish were feeding you could catch a 15 to 20 pound'er with a rod from shore....there's nothing like it!   If I remember correctly this image is of  "Stoney Creek " one of my favorite fishing spots.
